The Free Roll® Stabilizer is a roller-bearing type tool that can be s I zed to the I.D. of the casing to insure positive centralization of the tool in the casing.

Applications

  • Centralizing tools during milling, fishing, or cleanout operations in cased wells.

  • Maintaining alignment of drill strings and downhole tools to prevent casing wear or deviation.

  • Improving tool performance by reducing vibration and tool deflection in the wellbore.

Features & Advantages

The tool is designed for the production well work market and

provides the following features:


  1. The O.D. of the roller bearings can be readily adjusted to any size within the design range of that tool.

  2. The range of O.D. sizes available with each tool sizes permits covering the complete range of casing weights and sizes with significantly fewer tools than with the fixed size stabilizers.

  3. The tool can be easily resized on location without addition parts.

  4. The large circulating passages through the tool facilitate reverse circulating operations.

  5. The tool is simple to dress and operate with only five major parts and requires only a limited inventory of parts.
